Judith Morgan is a specialist Entrepreneur & Business Coach (and one of the speakers at my Wealth Creation Conference 10/11 March - for more info visit www.ukwealthcreationconference.com ). Judith has a great website and a fantastic newsletter called "In The Pink" which is Judith’s favourite colour incidentally.
She’s launching a great service on her site for business owners which I totally recommend. Judith says:
"I am going to be creating a section on my website www.drivedance.com called Ask Judith in which I will invite questions from visitors about problems they may be encountering with their business and I will answer these anonymously in the newsletter or on the site.
This means you can get the answers to ….
….your business problems without necessarily signing up for coaching.
What’s your question? judith@drivedance.com
I am thinking also of forming a series of teleclasses around being a business owner and developing a forum and a club in which we can hang out together, creating better businesses, networking, sharing resources and helping each other.
What questions would you dearly like to know the answers to, which would really help your business to get off the ground, go to the next level, or take off stratospherically? What do you know that could help others? How would you like to be involved in this project?
Let’s get the ball rolling this week, then I can address some of the issues in coming newsletters.
In my own example, I have (as some of you may know) a cleaning business www.thecleaningbiz.com and we have several branches of it in London and are now taking on other branches in the provinces and Scotland. We use licensing as a way of growing our brand, having considered and rejected franchising. This is about creating passive revenue now and creating a business to sell later on. How do we do it?
- Do you have a great accounting system? Where can YOU get one?
- Are you worried about tax? How do you get excellent advice on that?
- Do you have burning VAT questions, or PAYE, or other issues around Government rules and regulations?
- How do you find and manage and afford great staff? What level of staff does your business actually need and how do you work that out?
- How can you extract yourself from the day-to-day running of your business and still make money?
- How can you have plenty of leisure time while working for yourself and be able to relax, knowing your business thrives while you are not there at the helm?
- What is your marketing strategy? What IS a marketing strategy?!
- What sort of a relationship do you have with your bank manager and how could that work better for you and your company?
- Do you have a dream team of advisers and peers, or are you isolated? Are you a Lonely Entrepreneur?
- Are you creating wealth with your venture, or have your simply bought yourself a job?
- What sort of a boss are you? Would it make more sense to be a leader?
- What keeps you awake at night worrying? How can you Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway?
- How can you get support in this work?
- What else would it be helpful to know?
IT WOULD REALLY HELP ME if you would submit your questions, because what you want to know is what everyone else wants to know and in answering yours (anonymously) we can help everyone. I will also be able to use the research this creates in my coaching and public speaking to be of greater use to the small business community.
Let’s open up a dialogue here! Please help me to help you and all the other business owners. Let’s make Britain’s entrepreneurs more successful and more financially savvy too.
Would you like a Business and a Life to Love? What’s holding you back, what would make all the difference to you if you knew the answer, had options, had access to support, could rely on a trusted network of like-minded friends and contacts who are going through the same challenges as you?
