Bit of a sad way to spend a Saturday? Perhaps. But I was a fired up by a promise I made to one of the Money Gym coaches this week, and it has been on my list all year, so I have spent the afternoon getting into Nicola’s spreadsheets. And it reminded me (in a good way) of the first phone call Nicola and I ever had… hilarious – as are most of them.

I’m a Money Gym coach in training and I am enjoying every moment! Its very exciting the team are great and we are all having great fun along the way. I currently work in a pretty demanding full time job, which takes up a lot of my time. The turning point for me was probably when
I attended a Tony Robbins UPW event at Excel docklands last year. It was a great experience and it was great to meet the man (such big hands and feet!). Anyway, the event itself was informative and inspirational, however nothing profound or obvious seemed to happen to me (or did it?). Since then my health has improved significantly, I have purchased a pretty sizeable property portfolio from scratch, I have built a dream team of around 15-20 specialists in their field and I am having a ball………..

This week I booked up my skiing break for next January. Two mums, three kids, ten days. And more snowy mountains than I can count.
Why now? Because Aer Lingus are offering to fly me to Munich for €10 and fares won’t go lower than that. And why the second week in January? Because that’s ‘free ski pass’ week in our delightful little Austrian resort still unspoilt by tour operators and faux-Irish pubs. And that alone saves us around – gulp – € 700.
Oh, I love a bargain. And far from believing that makes me a cheapskate, if what I read is true, I reckon that gives me a millionaire mindset.

Excellent link on the Start Up Guide blog on a posting over at John Jantsch’s blog, Duct Tape Marketing about how the search engines are becoming the new Yellow Pages – and how you should get your business listed for free, while you still can! There’s a list of links for you to submit your business to the biggest search engines’ local directories and I did mine this morning – very easy and quick!

London Property Surgery – Getting Started With Property Investing
Peter Stanley is an experienced property investor, who spent over 15 years working in the Finance industry, before finally seeing the light and changing from a part time to a full time property investor.
Over the last year, Peter bought 21 properties, for himself and others whilst writing an ebook, developing a Property Investors Workbook and a mini ebook which demystifies the property buying process.
He will be holding a property investors’ surgery in London on Thursday 24th November at The Mandeville Hotel off Oxford Street. You can talk to him about getting started, using systems to reduce the stress, deciding on your investing strategy, in fact anything at all to do with property investment.
To enable Peter to see as many people as possible, you’ll need to book a slot with him and pay a deposit of £50, although this will be refunded when you turn up on the day.
There will also be a dinner at a restaurant near to the hotel, on the evening of the 24th and again, to make Peter’s life simpler, he’s asking for names and a £20 deposit in advance, which will be refunded on the evening. The venue will be decided nearer the time.
Numbers are limited for both the day & the evening and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and the deposit won’t be refunded to those who don’t attend.
