Survey Update & Actions Arising

Further to the results of our survey this week, we are making some fairly
radical changes to our mailing list set up.

Survey Results
Do you read the ezine? 51% say yes, while 49% say no
Do you like the new format? 63.9% say yes, 36.1% say no (good news Sarah)
Do you prefer text only ezines, HTML ezines or text with link to view HTML online 70.2% prefer it to come in as HTML (looking like a magazine with pics and links)

13% prefer text only

16.8% prefer text only with links
How Do You Feel About Loads Of Ads In Ezines? No, Hate Loads Of Ads - 43.1%

ACTIONS ARISING FROM RESULTS:

Essentially, we will only be mailing the largely new "ad-free" newsletter once a week and it will be sent in HTML (colour and pics) and text format - the software can tell which format your email software can receive.

There will also be a link to read it ….

….online for those who can only receive text but who prefer to read it online in colour. So covering all bases.

Within that newsletter will be a link to an "Nicola Cairncross Recommends" page where I will let you know about products, services, people that I like and recommend on an ongoing basis.

However, I am deeply concerned that, if I don’t mail my main list at all, people will miss out on news that is essential to know, for their future wealth creation.

How many of those people who complain about the volume of emails / third party ads are now enjoying a passive investments portfolio now, for example? And how many of them would have gone to an Open Day if I hadn’t kept banging on about it?

So I will, apart from the newsletter, keep to a strict schedule of just one recommended event / third party email per week for my main list.

But if you are one of the people (like me!) who is nosy, wants to know whats going on and up to the minute, I’m creating some "Early Adopter" lists.

Most of the information I want to share from now on, will ONLY be sent to the new
"Early Adopters" lists.

There will also be a link every week in the newsletter, to the above page.

Please be aware that you may receive up to an email every couple of days if you are on one of these "Early Adopters" lists - however, you can always unsubscribe from those lists without unsubscribing yourself from the main mailing list (which will be the newsletter and one broadcast per week).

Just click the links at the bottom of any of our emails to removed yourself, change your subscription or change the email at which you receive information.

I hope this goes a long way to make people happy to remain on our lists and would like to sincerely thank the hundreds of people who replied to the survey so far.

It’s been incredibly helpful.
