Brett McFall Upstaged By A Seagull!

in Money Gym | Internet, Money Gym | TV
When I took Brett McFall to Brighton for lunch, we recorded a little video for Alan Forrest Smith, who was in Brett’s neck of the woods on the Gold Coast of Australia. We were trying to concentrate and be professional but there was this seagull who just could not get enough of the camera. Enjoy!
Made To Work From Home?
by Rich Joker on September 23, 2008
in Money Gym | Business, Money Gym | Internet
The first work from home business check point is passion. Do you have a true passion for your work from home business idea? A work from home business will require an immense amount of self motivation.
When you work at home, you can wake up any time of the day. You do not have to worry about gossip in the workplace. You would not have to spend your hard-earned money on transportation or gas. Also, when you work at home, you can take care of your children, especially if you have a baby or a toddler who constantly needs a parent’s presence and care.
It can be easy to get caught up in the numerous tasks you have as a home business owner. After all, you are the writer, designer, marketer, and boss. But one of the most important jobs you have is customer service. The biggest mistake you can make is forgetting about the customer. It is the customer that is keeping you in business.
In order to build a successful business you need to nurture good relationship with your prospects. Using an autoresponder will easily and effectively assist you to build this great relationship. Your prospects will be more likely to trust you when you recommend anything to them because they make their decision based on knowing you as a friend and expert.
Keep regular business hours and respect the time that you set aside for yourself and your family. Be sure to focus on yourself and your family and put your work away when you are finished for the day. Don’t forget to take regular vacations and enjoy your work at home lifestyle.
Another benefit of a online business is that you can work on your schedule one hour a day. Once you build it and fill the world wide web up with your information it stays, which means traffic. There are many ways to create free traffic to your website.
After determining what market niche you are going to be dealing with, which should be something you are interested in or already have knowledge about, you will need to try and get an understanding of the demand in that niche for your home computer business opportunity. Market research will give you an idea of demand.
Imagine if you could have live people welcoming all guests to your website. Not one of those animated characters, but real people of flesh and blood. These people are there for you, they talk to your visitors and answer all their questions, and even close sales for you, even when you are sound asleep.
When planning any business it is important to get help where it is available, especially when that help is free for the taking. Small businesses are critical to our economic strength and in building America and our future. Most of the large companies we know now were once small ideas and many of them began with advice from places they knew and trusted.
There are a lot of people that get online to find their own way to make money from home. One very popular and easy way to start your own home business is through affiliate programs. There are many people that have started their business this way and have become very successful.
There is no getting around the fact that you will have failures and may even ponder quitting. As long as you maintain an attitude of I will not quit eventually thoughts of quitting will leave you and will be replaced by thoughts of all of the successes you are enjoying.
When you have a work at home business, you create your own schedule. This is where it can become a problem for some people because they prioritize everything else but their work. As long as you know what it is going to take to be successful with your business, there really is no set schedule.
You want to learn from people who are already successful. Embrace the idea of using a professional. Running a successful home-based business can be overwhelming. There are successful professionals that have overcome the hurdles of starting a business and their help can be invaluable.
When starting your home based internet business and go online you are visible in all the countries in the world that have net access and you get the advantage of so many different choices. There are millions of people who can see what you have to offer, maximizing your odds for a good sale.
In order to promote your business you have to obtain enough information about your potential clients to know who your target market is. It is imperative to focus your efforts on finding out which group of people are most likely to purchase your product and concentrate you marketing efforts toward them.
Improve Lead Generation by Paying for Visitors to Your Site
by David B. Ascot on September 22, 2008

Pay per click advertising is services such as Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing, or NineMSN Search Marketing. Paid search is one of my favourite techniques for business lead generation because it’s instant, it’s accountable and it’s effective. The first thing you want to do is to actually optimise page search spend and the first way to do this is to make sure you install conversion tracking so you know where your expenditure is leading to desired actions, for example, an acquired sale, and where your budget is under-performing.
A feature that allows you to do this is called conversion tracking and if you don’t know what this is you can easily search on Google for something like “Google Adwords Conversion Tracking” and a page should come up showing you how to install that. Once you have that installed, you can start to see the difference in the results between different keywords, different ads, and different landing pages. The first tip for Google Adwords or paid search is to:
1. Test Lots of Different Keywords: Don’t just test one or two; you should be testing hundreds or sometimes even thousands of very specific key phrases. You’re looking to work out which key phrases are effective at generating enquiries and which key phrases are just spending your money without having an effect. Once you have conversion tracking installed that will allow you to tell the difference.
2. Test multiple ads: Google Adwords, for one will let you try out different ads to see which are the most effective at driving traffic to your website. You’ll find out that some are far better at this than are others. For example, we worked with a client in the finance sector not so long ago and learned that one particular ad got traffic and conversions at less than a third of the cost of the other ads they were using. When you’re a larger company spending five figures on ads a month, a 30% saving is quite a lot of money.
3. Break up Your Pay Per Click Account into Tightly Targeted Ad Groups: An ad group is one or more ads that are triggered by a group of keywords. So you want all those keywords to be tightly targeted. I’ll give you an example. Let’s say you’re a mortgage broker and you’re marketing mortgage refinance as one of your products. You could have an A group called mortgage refinance and the ads are triggered by keywords such as “refinance mortgage” and close variations of that. Then, the ad that comes up has the words “refinance” and “mortgage” in it, and it’s closely targeted to that type of customer. Then the landing page you actually send people when to they click on the ad to is all about refinancing mortgages.
The goal here is to make sure that your landing pages and your ads as relevant as possible to your keywords – this is the way to get those high conversion rates you really want.
These methods can make your web based advertising dramatically more effective. Your Google AdWords and other pay per click programs can double, triple or even get ten times the results they are getting for you now!

How Can You Mend A Broken Heart?
by NicolaCairncross on September 13, 2008
in Money Gym | TV
So, how can you mend a broken heart? And why am I asking…………….ah, there’s a story!
One way is through music I believe, and here is a link to the amazing Al Green, performing his seminal song of the same name on YouTube – total magic.
Did you enjoy that? I love that song…..anything by Al Green is ok by me.
Another way to mend a broken heart, believe it or not, is to twitter it away……….yes, that thing called twitter can indeed mend a broken heart – more particularly a child’s broken heart.
Isn’t that amazing?
Did you get involved in DrMani’s Tweet_A_Thon on Twitter yesterday? A great example of internet marketing helping to make a difference…he raised $36,000 in total, I believe. How many new hearts is that, I wonder?
Dr Mani is a very well respected Indian heart surgeon, who uses internet marketing to raise money for operations for kids with congenital heart defects. He holds a blog-a-thon every year, to raise money, but this year he held a 24 hour Tweet_A_Thon on Twitter. See how it went at
I completely re-wrote the property chapter of my Money Gym book for the event, and even though I was sitting in the audience at WIS UK 2008, I knew I was doing my bit! Benefit to me? Lots of new followers on Twitter.
Get access to ALL the celebrity guest donations, including my “Leaked Property Chapter” and three audio chapters of the book, for a $25 donation to Heart Kids here:
I will be sending that chapter out to eveyone who has bought the ebook from our site, as a special bonus….I’m thinking about sending the newly finished audio version to the ebook/bundle purchasers too!
Two presentations stood out at WIS yesterday – Debra Thompson Roedl and Sean Roach, the latter because of his scary news about the fact that, when you sign up to Facebook and MySpace and even Linked In, you are signing away the rights to any of your own copyrighted content that you post on the site. Blimey!
I went to WIS specifically to support Tim Brocklehurst who presented yesterday morning – unluckily, his powerpoint did not work, after the first half an hour – a speaker’s nightmare! I’m not sure I could present without my little pictures to remind me what to say!

2 Days | Central London | £25.00 to Great Ormond St Hospital
Talking of my presenting…..I’m working on my hour slot for next week – the topic is TOP SECRET still but I’m really excited about it. Totally new stuff for me and VERY powerful.
Talking of next week…….We are being blown away by the sales of our “Money Gym Presents…..Brett McFall Live” event next weekend.
We have exceeded our initial target of 120 attendees still with one week to go, and having changed venue, have capacity in the new venue, for only 97 more people!!
97 divided by 2 = 48 more bookings on average (most people booking for two).
If you are wavering, take action now as the new venue – the Mayfair Cavendish Conference Centre – are very strict. You must book in advance as it will be sold out by……Thursday, I estimate.
As you know, all ticket sale proceeds to Great Ormond St Hospital remember so secure your seat, event if you or your friend MAY not make it, it’s a good cause.

See you there!
