Which Is The Top Money Blog?

Which Is the Top Money Blog in the blogosphere?  Or should we look for the Top 10 Money Blogs?  And are they really?

According to the organic search results on Google today the Top 10 Money Blogs are:

1.  My Money Blog – Personal Finance and Investing Blog
Chronicles author’s journey and his goal of becoming a millionaire.
www.mymoneyblog.com/

USA based blogger, who is actually tracking his net worth and reporting results.  Seems to be focusing on stockmarket based investments, although he/she covers property (real estate), entrepreneurialism, and frugal living.  Well worth a look/read.

2.  How to Make Money From Your Blog
Seriously i think everyone of you who wanna make money from blog must read this. This is the classic, and i think it will be a guide for me to monetize this …
www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2006/05/how-to-make-money-from-your-blog/

I don’t know Steve Pavlina personally but he’s got a good reputation and this article grabs your attention for sure!

Extract:  “StevePavlina.com was launched on Oct 1st, 2004.  By April 2005 it was averaging $4.12/day in income.  Now it brings in over $200/day $1000/day (updated as of 10/29/06).  I didn’t spend a dime on marketing or promotion.  In fact, I started this site with just $9 to register the domain name, and everything was bootstrapped from there.  Would you like to know how I did it?”

Yes, Steve, I would, so I’ll be coming back to read this blog posting.

3.  How to make money from your blog: 5 tips

Touch on the dry side as you would expect from a corporate blog (Microsoft Small Business Center) but well worth a look.  Tends to assume you want to make money from your blog rather than using it establish yourself as a maven/expert and that you have traffic already.

4. How Bloggers Make Money from Blogs
I want to make money from my blog but I also think that blogging should still be ….. Dispatches From Blogistan Blog Archive make money from blogs Says: [… …

The ever excellent Problogger comes in at number 4 today, and has 708 responses on this one blog post alone!  Definately one to subscribe to, especially as I think Rich Schefren (no mean blogger himself!) is going to be working with Problogger in the New Year.

5. Learn How To Make Money Online With Your Blog
Don’t know how to blog for money? Not sure where to start? Not a problem – follow this roadmap to making money online with your blog right now! …
www.earnmoneytoblog.com/

Interesting site and not one I’ve come across before.  Seems to be a genuine blog but I find the Google Adsense right in your face like that, a bit distracting.  Some top tips on there though and some posts are divided up into beginner, intermediate and advanced which I thought was a good idea.  If it’s a junk site, it’s quite well done.  Not getting my traffic though.

6. MoneyBlog Make money OnLine

Make Money Online – How to Make Money Online and Work at Home by Internet Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Affiliate Programs, …
afacereonline.ro/

JUNK SITE ALERT:  Strange URL, looks ok on first arrival, but a “junk site” actually.  Junk sites are those set up to scrape content from other sites, and make money from selling affiliate products and adsense.  You can tell because the posts don’t make sense and there is no discernable personality behind the site.  Ultimately Google will drop it down the rankings.  I’m not sending that traffic or links for sure!

7.  Money Blog
How To Make Money, Making Money Online, Investing, Saving, Money Managers – MoneyBlog.com.
www.moneyblog.com

JUNK SITE ALERT:  Another junky site, with no personality behind it, but they do take articles and comments from other bloggers.  Despite it’s high ranking on my search today, it’s only got a 2/10 page rank.  How long it will be there I’ve no idea, as most of the content presumably isn’t original.

8. ukmoneyblog.co.uk
I used to have one and then I decided to close it and invested the money in a retirement plan that doubles as an insurance policy. I consider that money …
www.ukmoneyblog.co.uk/

JUNK SITE ALERT:  Hmmmm, not sure about this one.  It’s written in the first person, but there is no about page, no photo, and it’s a Wordpress blog that has not been configured properly as it’s still got all the setup gubbins on the side.  However, the articles seem quite well written, and useful, so if it is scraping content, it’s using a good programme to do it.

9. Money Blog Site – The Personal Finance Blog You Can Invest In
By Money Blog. I just mentioned I was going to convert my Dad’s site to use ….. Money Blog Site is powered by WordPress | Using Tiga theme with a bit of Ozh.
www.moneyblogsite.com/

JUNK SITE ALERT:  Seems to be set up by a real person, with a view to selling it on.  He wants $750 for the domain name but the site needs some work as the template is all over the shop.  Another junk site really.

10. Make money – Make money online
Started this money blog because being an Economist I can blog for money, blog about money, blog money! Blogging for money is something we like a lot. …
www.themoneycosmos.com/

JUNK SITE ALERT:  Nice domain name, another rubbish site sadly.  Template all over the shop, completely devoid of personality.

Nicola’s Conclusion: On the key phrase “money blog” you have a great opportunity to come in and seize Google placement right there on the front page.

Important note:  The top 4 “money blog” orientated sites are by real people, delivering value and as such, they have earned some traffic from me.

Tips:  Choose a domain name with the words “money blog” included in it, put a picture up and something about yourself, configure your blog properly, inject some personality, use quality articles and blog regularly and in three months time, you could see your moneyg blog right up there.

I went through the first ten pages of Google and the Money Gym Blog is nowhere to be seen but I’m cool with that, as it’s not one of the phrases I’ve ever concentrated on, and I know that Google is still indexing our 1000+ postings, after we moved it to Wordpress.

Every day I get a Google Alert that they have indexed a few more pages or old postings, and our Page Rank has just been upped to 3/10 (we had a 4/10 ranking over at Typepad).

Patience and consistency will get us there.

Blogging is like property, a long term investment.

Are You “In” Or Just Deleted For 2009

As I spend all day setting up my new Blackberry (ver ver ver sexy bit of kit!) and I’ve been having a little purge of blogs I subscribe to via RSS I thought I would share why some are “in” and some are “out” for 2009.

This follows my very public purge and reporting of, via Twitter, of my unsubscribing of certain ezines…… now that was fun!

I’m on a mission to follow only those blogs who add value.  Difficult to quantify but I’m a big blog follower – have been for about 3 years – and I think I can trust my instincts now.

Very truly OUT are….

1.   all those (including those of my family!) where they can’t be arsed to post to their blog within the last two weeks (this criteria would have been the last week but it IS Christmas/New Year), as I bloody well give up if they don’t get it yet about blogging.

2.  where every post is a video with no intro beyond the title – what’s gonna make me watch it?

3.  where it’s all sell, sell, sell particularly of other people’s stuff,  and no personal insight and thoughts at all.

4.  anyone who talks about god without qualifying it at all to cater for all tastes (i.e. or the universe or whatever YOU believe in) although I am becoming strangely hooked on Rev Run’s show on MTV which my 13 year old is watching compulsively and is absolutely hilarious.  We have found a common bond in music and very rich people’s property a la  MTV’s Cribs over the Xmas hols……..best interior design taste award so far goes to Pamela Anderson FYI.  Go figure.

Rev Run’s into hip-hop and god, not two of my favourite things in the whole wide world as god=organised religion in my book and hip hop just gets on my nerves after a while.    Still…..it’s a very cool show AND a loveable family.  Almost as good as Shazzer and co, and I didn’t like rock music either.  The Rev’s two older daughters are very smart, funny and quick (aka Phoebe) and the middle son reminds me of Nelson a lot.  Jo-Jo is a techie geek who’s cool and the dog makes me laugh.  As does the baby.

Do they have a blog I wonder?  Must have………

I’m off to find it.  I’ll come back to this rant later.

New Year – Brilliant Thoughts

by NicolaCairncross on December 16, 2008
in Money Gym | Success

I love New Year and New Year Resolutions.  September is also good for new starts, but New Year is the best.  Not only do you have spring to look forward to, but there is a whole week between Christmas and New Year (if you are lucky enough not to work for anyone else) to get bored, think about stuff and make lists.

I subscribe to a lot of ezines and the “New Year, New Start” themes are beginning to emerge.  I thought I would share the best of them with you, this year.

First up, the ever erudite Martin Avis from Kickstart Daily.  Follow Martin on Twitter at “martinavis”

“All in all, I’m very pleased with my own progress in 2008 and although I haven’t ticked every box as I’d have hoped, I knowthat I took action and moved myself forward in many ways.

And that’s the way I’d urge you to see things: lack of successisn’t failure provided that you have moved on from where youwere. Lack of success is just a resting point on the journey. Solong as you continue to travel, and know in your heart that youare progressing, your resolutions are still in the process ofcoming true.

Failure is when you have allowed the hope of achieving your dream to die”

Sylvia’s Success, Scribbles & Sailing Away

Did I tell you last week I’ve been appointed the official Wealth Expert for the Pampers Nappies community website, supporting mums in all aspects of their lives?

Heartwarming stuff just in, this week, that proves you are never too old or too young to be a successful entrepreneur.

First up, Money Gym Gold client Debbie Bissett let us know about HER client Sylvia….

nfn debbie Sylvias Success, Scribbles & Sailing Away “I wanted to share with you this morning the phenomenal success that one of my clients has achieved and has culminated in her winning a NatWest Everywoman Award yesterday at the prestigious award ceremony held at The Dorchester.

Sylvia owns The Recycle Works Limited and since January this year we have been working on developing an online marketing startegy for the business that has resulted in a number of initiatives being implemented such as the weekly newsletter ‘Sylvia’s Briefs’, The Recycle Works Blog, Recycle Works Radio, additional online merchant accounts and an online traffic attraction strategy. Plus there’s so much more to come during the next few months.

The award, presented by Fion Bruce was the NatWest Everywoman Iris Award and is given to the woman whose business growth and success has been greatly improved, through successful implementation and use of IT and communications. There couldn’t have been a more appropriate award for Sylvia!

Working with Sylvia is always an absolute pleasure simply because she is so keen to learn about new online marketing techniques and is even keener to implement them. She’s a formidable person and at 75 is an inspiration to us all without a shadow of a doubt…..

Well, it’s the first week of December and the Money Gym Gold marketing campaign is hotting up.
If you are interested in marketing, I’m following a mixture of Jeff Walker’s Product Launch Formula Essential elements include:

1.  Bonuses – worth over £2000 (for the first 20 people who join)
2.  A big event – the live 12-hour Wealth-A-Thon on Saturday 3rd January
3.  A competition where you can win Gold Membership, coaching with me, worth over £11,000
4.  Savings of over £1200 if you join in December for a January start, as Gold Membership goes up on Jan 4th to £479.50 per month

You can find out more about the competition here at our very sexy new look magazine-style blog

You can enter the competition by video or in writing, just follow the simple instructions, and it’s so easy to enter I’m amazed more of you aren’t going for it just yet.

Obviously, if you have joined Money Gym Gold during December to secure the bonuses and the discount on 2009 membership fees, and you win the competition we will, of course, refund your fees paid!

I’ve started the thrice weekly tv shows live too, at 1pm on Mondays, Weds and Fridays, and you can ask your burning wealth creation questions here – then click the link to ask your questions on the blog before the show via the comments box.

Again, I’m amazed that we are not getting more questions – perhaps you are all too busy spending money to think about saving or investing it?!!

Now, I’ve just heard from Capt’n Lou about three final cabins available on the Internet Marketer’s Caribbean Cruise, due to last minute cancellations for illness etc.  I heard from someone today who really wants to go, so that leaves two…..if you fancy escaping the January cold, just click here to find out more.

Make sure you get all the Money Gym extras by choosing Nicola Cairncross from the drop-down menu on the booking page.

And dont’ forget to email me if you have already booked through our page so I can tie up both lists and make sure you are in the Money Gym gang on board. Email nicola [at] themoneygym.com and confirm yourself via my Spamarrest.

It’s still a secret in my house (unless someone is reading the ezine which is highly unlikely!) and I’m just about to start buying the funny little presents that will confuse and befuddle the little darlings when they open their presents on Xmas Day.  Mossie spray? Say what?

Have fun, we always are!

Nicola

Up Days….

Marvellous post over at Judith’s blog…..an “up” day for sure!

Bibendum2 “You just plod along, don’t you. Minding your own business, taking care of business, helping people, collecting in the money, nose to the grindstone, laughing, crying, coping, managing, intending, visualising, counting your blessings, feeding the cat, sorting out the drains, zapping tolerations, helping people, allowing help, getting folks out of bad debt and into good, worrying about family and being the best you can be, whilst fighting the demons, battling the traffic and the traffic wardens. Such is daily life.

And then, extraordinarily, out of the blue, something wonderful happens and all the more delightful for being totally unexpected……..”

Chris Ogle’s Internet Marketing Journey – Part 2

by NicolaCairncross on November 7, 2008
in Money Gym | Internet

chrisogle2 Chris Ogles Internet Marketing Journey Part 2As I said last week, looking back to the 26th or so of April 2008, when I joined Money Gym Gold Level, I realise that I have come quite a long way in 7 months. At that time I knew almost nothing about Internet Marketing except rumours that people were making quite a lot of money from this new phenomena.

It is also a twist of irony that I run a business which is pretty much entirely web based and that even with this knowledge somehow I had managed to remain fairly naive about what was going on.

True to my character however once I realised that this was something I needed to understand, I set about becoming a guru in 6 months, not perhaps adept at everything but at least a good understanding of what Internet Marketing was and how it all fits together.

I still remain a relative ‘newbie’ to the Internet Marketing scene and so I have not lost sight of the difficulties that I had trying to grasp the whole concept at the outset. The sheer volume of information and different sources of ‘Must-Have’ knowledge is very daunting when starting out. This article can perhaps serve as a small guide for those now embarking on the same journey that I’ve been on, and maybe speed up the process and shortcut the learning curve a little.

I think the biggest lesson I’ve learnt is that you can’t tackle everything from day 1! There is a logical sequence to building an Internet Business just it is so difficult work it out on your own with information flying at you from all angles. There is stuff you just have to know straight away and other things that can come on stream as your business and understanding develops. So I have put together 7 simple steps that help to break down the whole thing into a manageable process anyone can follow.

Steps 1-4 were covered last week, view them here >>

Step 5

We have at this stage pretty much built the bedrock for your Internet Marketing business. At step 5 we need to start actually marketing what we do.

This is done through a number of techniques, regular blogging, social networking, twittering, Article submission, joining Forums (relating to your business), commenting on other peoples blogs and posts, Press Releases and regular ezines or newsletters to your database list.

This process is ongoing and the more you do the better the results. It is all about little and often rather than big blasts once a week. The great thing about Internet marketing is that none of your effort is ever wasted, what you did this week goes into next week and then into the week after compounding your results. Once we start getting our traffic, names should start filling up our database!

Step 6

Monitor your results. One of the most important things about Internet Marketing is to be able to find out what is working and what is not working. Now we are starting to generate traffic we should be analysing the results.

More learning here I’m afraid, Feedburner, Google analytics and Ad-Tracking will all help you to see which links are working for you and those that are underperforming. Armed with this information we can now begin to put in some changes and improve our performance, honing what we do to maximise our return.

Step 7

Keep up to date! As you become more confident with Internet marketing and everything starts to become second nature, keep your ears and eyes close to the ground. Internet Marketing is constantly evolving and new ideas and concepts emerge almost daily.

Start to explore related activities or Joint Venture opportunities, why not work with others and pool your database lists to reach a larger audience?

Why not look at membership sites and how you might use these to generate an ongoing revenue stream, the opportunities are almost endless.

There is no doubt that Internet Marketing is exciting. The people who operate Internet Marketing businesses have an abundance mentality and are enthusiastic bunch. Everyone is keen to promote their own and other Internet Marketers products and it is easy to get sidetracked onto the next best thing.

CHRIS’ CONCLUSION:

In conclusion you need to have a plan and work your plan.

Don’t get sidetracked or lose focus on your project and your priorities. If something new emerges, make a note of it, understand what it is, assess it’s relevance, keep it safe and position it within your plan. These things won’t go away, the great deal will still be there when you get around to it, and you’ll get where you want to go more quickly by keeping focussed.

Chris Ogle’s Internet Marketing Journey – Part 1

chrisogle2 Chris Ogles Internet Marketing Journey Part 1Looking back to the 26th or so of April 2008, when I joined Money Gym Gold Level, I realise that I have come quite a long way in 7 months. At that time I knew almost nothing about Internet Marketing except rumours that people were making quite a lot of money from this new phenomena.

There is .isp 1 Chris Ogles Internet Marketing Journey Part 1a logical sequence to building an Internet Business just it is so difficult work it out on your own with information flying at you from all angles. There is stuff you just have to know straight away and other things that can come on stream as your business and understanding develops. So below I have put together 7 simple steps that help to break down the whole thing into a manageable process anyone can follow.

Step 1

The first step is to either (a) Find your niche, (b) Develop someting in your area of expertise or (c) apply Internet marketing to your current offline business.

Once you have defined this, you may need some help in planning how to tackle what you want to do. There are many tools available Blogs (multiple blogs), Web Sites, Member sites etc. and you need to work out which tools are best for your project and how it’s going to fit together. This is like architecting the foundation, the difficulty is that you need to understand Internet Marketing to plan it in the first place! So my recommendation would be to seek some advice, you could save yourself some blind alley experiences.

It is a good idea before you move on from step 1 to also start exploring Keywords for your project. These are words or phrases that people use to search the internet for what they are looking for and hopefully find you! We’ve all used Google and Yahoo so we are already users and know what we type in to find the things we want, now you have to start thinking about what you would type in to find your internet venture. You will need to then use these keywords in all your content and web based activities. Ideal keywords are those where people use them to search but where the phrase doesn’t appear on too many competitors pages. Luckily there are some great tools to assist with this process!

Oh, nearly forgot, you are going to need help when Internet marketing, it is a good idea at this stage to find a group or forum who you can relate to and who will provide invaluable feeback and assistance as you stumble through the early months !

Step 2

Put down the foundation stones of your Internet Marketing. This means getting a presence on the Internet. You are going to need to get familiar with a raft of Social Networking sites, communication tools and start to think about your Blog. If you are not so technical or are pressed for time you will need to enlist the help of a Blog Site developer who can get you a professional business blog up and running fairly quickly, once in place you have your very own soap box to communicate with the world.

This period of getting yourself registered, downloading useful applications and generally getting set up can take a month or two depending on the amount of time you have.

Why do you need a Blog? This is beyond the scope of this article, but it is like your very own website that you can maintain yourself. Blogging regularly will attract visitors and get you into seach engines and improve the chances of making sales either directly from your Blog or from associated websites or referral links.

Step 3

What are you going to sell ? You will have established this in step 1, however now you have something live on the Internet (your blog) from which to make sales from. You can sell other people’s products there are thousands to choose from (related to your niche is best), or you can create an e-book as an expert in your field. e-Books are fantastic way of sharing your knowledge and creating brand YOU. e-books can also be a good revenue stream. Never thought of yourself as an author? don’t worry it’s not as daunting as it first seems!

In this step you need to familarise yourself with Affiliate links, sites such as Clickbank and Paydotcom and possibly get yourself an account with one of the shopping cart companies such as TotalBusinessCart.

Step 4

Ensure that you have the ability to capture peoples names and email addresses. Internet Marketers do this through something called a ‘Squeeze Page’ and the details are registered into your own private online database which you can then email market to!

There are a number of database services out there and some combine shopping carts with facilities to collect names and addresses as well. You will need to learn what is an Autoresponder and how to use this to start building a relationship with your growing list of followers.

It is a fact with any business but especially for Internet marketers that your business is valued by the size of your list (contacts). If you do one part of internet marketing exceptionally well, make sure it is collecting names!

We will continue with Steps 5-7 next week….Thanks Chris!

Lucy Parkes Caught On Camera

Learning To Love….Wordpress

OK, I admit it, I’ve had a love/hate relationship with Wordpress. I’ve been a deliriously happy Typepad user for years, attaching it to my site by means of a nice neat button, and back again to the site, to get the SEO. My blog had a 4/10 google ranking and my site had the same, so benefited from the many links backward and forward. Since moving my blog to Wordpress and hosting it on my domain, that has remained at 4/10 and the blog is now 3/10 even though it’s got many more original posts on it than the Typepad one.

After the last World Internet Summit in London 2007, however, I took on board that all the “big dogs” are using it and when my buddy Mike Stewart said “I don’t know why I’m using it but Armand told me too!” I came home, downloaded the software for free from www.Wordpress.org, tried some plugins and after a long frustrating weekend trying to get it to work, I gave up on that one.

Then I turned to ex-internet coaching client Lea Woodward for help, as she was much more techie than me and had an army of geeks to outsource the tricky bits to.

Turns out my server 1and1.co.uk needed some serious tweaking before it would let me hook up my new MySql database with the blog software. Most hosting like my preferred one FunkyDomainNames will let you do a very sexy one click install from the CPanel – takes nanoseconds.

Of course installing it is one thing, making Wordpress look nice and do what you want it to do is another. I struggled for weeks to get images in my posts! For this you will need to choose a “widget ready” theme AND install about 20 different plugins.

Here is my list of the Top Essential & Most Sexy Plugins For Wordpress

** Please feel free to comment below and let me know which plugins I am missing **

1. Akismet - stops comment spam and comes pre-installed, you just need to activitate it (in Plugins) and then add your API key, which you get from setting up an account at www.Wordpress.com

2. OneClick – install this first, by downloading the zip file to your computer, extracting the files and uploading via FTP the main OneClick folder to your wp_content > plugins folder on your server. Go activate it in your Wordpress control panel, then thereafter, after you have downloaded the zip file for any plugin to your computer, you can do everything else from within Wordpress. Remember to use the pull down menu to choose plugin rather than theme, as it defaults to theme.

3. Sign-out-reminder – does what it says on the tin!

4. Wordpress-automatic-upgrade.1.1 – this makes the business of upgrading your software effortless, if you choose the “automatic” option. Amazing to watch!

5. Feedburner_feedsmith_plugin_2.3 – you need to open a free Feedburner account and “burn” a feed for your blog. Not only will Feedburner give you better statistics, but you can monetize your blog posts and feed page with Google Adsense.

6. adsense-manager.2.5 – put your Adsense publisher CA in here and monetize your blog

7. better-comments-manager1.5 – helps you manage comments more easily and picks up inbound links to your blog

8. google-sitemap-generator.3.0.2 – automatically generates and updates your site map for Google

9. Maxblogpress-ping-optimizer.zip – if, like me, you save each post about five times, before you are happy with it, this plugin stops your blog spamming the ping sites, particularly ping-o-matic, who can block your blog for over-pinging! MaxBlogPress has some nice plugins generally.

10. ImageManager2.41 – never again struggle to put pics in your posts, or have to upload your pic to your server before you can use it, or worse still, LOSE a pic that you just KNOW you uploaded/used before on your blog. This plugin did disappear last time I upgraded my Wordpress software but I just reuploaded it using oneclick and it worked fine again.

11. All-in-one-bookmarking-button – puts that sexy little bar at the bottom of all your posts that enables your visitor to digg you, stumble you, delicious you or technorati you (and many, many others)

12. TwitThis_for_WordPress_1.1 - if you twitter – and you should as it updates your blog with your twits, you can twit on the move, it updates your Facebook and MySpace Profile and it twits to your followers when you post on your blog (AMAZING!!) – then you need this on your blog! not sure which of the Twit tools listed here does what, but you need both (take it from me!)

13. Twitter-tools.1.1b1 – as above!

14. Viddlercomments – enables people to post a comment using video via their webcam on your blog – watch this one grow and grow!

15. Max-banner-ads – just getting into this one but man, it’s really, really good. Enables you to put your own banners or OTHER PEOPLE’s in various locations on your blog, and gives great stats. You can start to charge for banner ads on your blog!

Hope this was helpful. and if you hit the comments link (or the little camera) you can leave your favourite plugins for us! Cheers, Nicola

Twitter Manifesto – A Great Guide

Michael Brito, over at the Britopian blog, has posted a useful guide to using Twitter successfully:

“I did a search for “twitter manifesto” and I am sad to say that I was not the first to coin this phrase. Darn, there goes my legacy.

For the last couple of months, my participation on Twitter has grown significantly and yes, I have become somewhat addicted. I tend to follow certain peeps who I think I can learn from as well as personal friends and colleagues. Recently I had an ego “reality check” when I realized that a few of those peeps don’t follow me back, even though I attempted to interact with them on several occasions. I then asked myself, “do I provide value to those who follow me?, can people learn from me?, am I not liked?” I always thought I was a pretty likable guy.

I realize that I was taking this way too personal and that the world does not revolve around me; a sad truth of course (jk). David Berkowitz actually sums this situation up quite eloquently. He gives some examples of why one might not reciprocate by following their followers:

They post too often
They post too infrequently
They only post about themselves
They only post links with no commentary
They’re boring
You’re overwhelmed by your current volume from who you’re following and you’re cutting back
You only follow people you really know
I would hope that the last two bullet points exemplify my personal experience.
Nonetheless, I decided to craft my own “Twitter Manifesto” just for Michael Brito. So, here goes.

Don’t expect the people you are following to follow you. It would be virtually impossible for someone like Jeremiah Owyang (@jowyang) to follow all of his 8,000 followers. He is already following over 5,000 and I give him tons of credit for that. If and when someone wants to follow you, it’ll happen organically. If they don’t, DON’T TAKE IT PERSONAL (I am talking to myself right now). If you don’t want to wait, you can always respond to and/or blog about one of their tweets.
