A month in the life of a Wealth Coach…

Margaret CollinsThe last month included Christmas and New Year. Routinely these are times for family and celebration, times accompanied by their own joys and stresses. In the Collins household there were plenty of both!

Christmas was a pleasure. Once I’d got used to the fact that my partner had invited everyone for Christmas dinner… well maybe not absolutely everyone but we did cook dinner for 12 which is the most I’ve ever had to cope with! Actually it did go pretty well, even if I say so myself. Food was on the table only 20 minutes later than predicted and the worst thing to happen was splitting a bag of frozen peas and throwing them all over the cooker with 5 minutes to go! (We’re still finding stray peas in the most surprising of places!).

My greatest professional activity over this time was project managing a property refurbishment. We bought a house before Christmas. It badly needed a rewire so we figured it was better to do the job properly before we moved in. There was also the possibility of significantly upgrading a bathroom and kitchen so we got together a team…

Dave the builder is great and masterminded most things really efficiently. He’s a real “can do” builder and so refreshing to work with. Bill the plumber was also a real asset to the team, turning his hand to wallpaper stripping in the quieter moments between plumbing jobs. The only slight problem with our choice of plumber was that he lived in Ystrad Mynach and drove a Ford Focus. Now don’t get me wrong. There’s normally nothing wrong with those choices, but given that South Wales, along with the rest of the country has experienced the heaviest snowfall for 20 years, there were times I wished we’d picked a plumber who lived in Roath and drove a 4 x 4! Still to his credit, Bill has been there when we needed him and his ability to “lend a hand” has been a great asset.

A Week In The Life Of Another Wealth Coach | Annie Kaszina

by Annie Kaszina on December 12, 2009
in Money Gym | Diaries

First off, let’s redefine the title slightly: since I’m only let loose on this column once a month, how about a month in the life?

So what has been going on in this Money Gym coach’s life?

Well, I have, so to speak, said a fond farewell to my lovely MG clients for this year, in terms of actively coaching them anyway; but the relationship remains.  It is always a pleasure and a privilege to work with fabulous people around something as important as their life, and the respect and esteem continue.  So, too, does the repartee, as it has with Sue Trinder (aka the MG choir mistress) over a little known Madonna anthem (“I’m a Virgin!”) and some highly decorative book shelves that she was marketing!

Over the past year my lovely clients have learnt a lot about themselves, what they really want, what they believe they can have, and how they move forward.  Of course, we all want to be multi-millionaires, at least theoretically.  It’s the rare person who would say no to vast amounts of money choosing them.  But the reality is that the more clarity we have about ourselves, the more money we create and accumulate comfortably; that is to say in a way that is consistent with our fundamental beliefs, values and attitudes. (Oh dear, Annie is in philosophical mode! The annual jaunt to Venice, and canal-to-canal culture and frivolity clearly beckon!)

Less frivolously, the thing that has most exercised my mind over the past few weeks has, of course, been the demise of Passive Investments.  (I do tend to ruminate over things.) I’ve expressed my feelings about everyone’s losses, including my own, elsewhere, so no need to go over that ground again.

Have You Taken Up Residence On Your Couch For December?

Sitting on my couch, among my new set of cushions, reflecting on 2009 and thinking ahead to 2010, I’m struck by how certain times of year lend themselves particularly to this kind of introspective thinking.

Easter, with the promise of spring and new life, September with the start of the new school year (and even us grownups still remember that feeling!) and of course Christmas with the impending New Year.

Funny old days, in early December, are they not?   It’s very, very dark, at both ends of the day, and recently it’s felt like it’s never going to stop raining.  One can hardly remember the sun or the sunny days of Summer and it seems an awfully long way off to next summer, that’s for sure!  The couch seems the best place to be, with Strictly or X-Factor on the TV and the heating on full.

The New Year is coming quicker than lightning but all we want to do is wind down to Christmas!

On the one hand some of the country go into a spending spree and Christmas decorating spasm, and on the other hand, some people are quietly emailing tales of woe, stories of quiet desperation and harsh self-criticism about another year gone by – wasted!  Months of procrastination, prevarication leading to …………….absolutely no results.

Do you secretly feel really cross because your 2009 has not progressed you to where you want to be, financially?  Perhaps you have been one of the pension holders or property investors affected by the credit crunch in some way or other and you rather hopefully had all your eggs in one basket?

Is it Christmas or something?

I’ve had more surprises in my postbox in the last week than I think I’ve had all year.  A set of 8 “Prosperity Consciousness” CDs, a lovely new book, a very large tube of Aloe Vera gelly and not one – but two – boxes of organic chocolates – which as we all know are exceedingly good for you.

And then there was the rather intriguing postcard from Hollywood, LA.  The message is funny and it’s signed “Brad”.  And yet – though hardly anyone in the entire world knows my address nor do I know anyone visiting California – I don’t recognise the writing.  I can’t help but chuckle each time it catches my eye as I know I’ve been out-smarted.

I love all my presents and bless the generosity of the people who took the time to send them to me.  The postcard from Brad Pitt proves too that it really is the thought that counts and if by any chance you are still debating whether to go for a major Christmas credit card splurge you can’t afford, stop right now please.

The best gifts are often not the most expensive.  I know my son’s favourite Christmas memories are not of the TV set, the X Box or the laptop he’d been longing for but of the games of tiddlywinks, draughts or cards that we sit and play while the dinner is cooking.  And of course it’s not the little plastic disks he values but the time we spend together as a family.

I don’t mean to go all ‘Little House on the Prairie’ on you.  I’m not proposing hand-knitted ties for the men and crocheted tea cosies for the ladies.  Nor do I think that in these recessionary times, we should be giving practical gifts.  I’m reminded of the friend who received an enormous gift-wrapped box from her husband one Christmas and while her two children jumped up and down with excitement, she opened the box to find a large microwave nestled inside…

A Week In The Life Of Another Wealth Coach: Philly Fuggle

philly 100x100 A Week In The Life Of Another Wealth Coach: Philly FuggleAs Judith mentioned in last week’s newsletter, between now and Christmas, all of us coaches will be sharing with you a bit about what we are up to.  Judith called on me to be the first, because I think she was a bit concerned that I would not get to do my bit before I got myself all tied up in dirty nappies and sleepless nights and before I started talking “Ga Ga” to you all.

Yes that is right, for those of you who did not know, I am expecting, due on 8th December and soon to be a Mum.  So as you can imagine life in Philly’s world is all go, along with the baby preparations, I am busy automating as many of my tasks as possible and getting things in place so our wealth creation activities keep building for us whilst we have a bit of time off to welcome our new family member.

This week has been an eye opening and exciting week for me with the start of a year’s relationship with a wonderful new Gold Client, being hit by the “Boiler Bang” and meeting a COMPLETE newbie to the internet.

Nicola’s Internet Wanderings

I love the period between Christmas and New Year, particularly if it falls on a weekend.  You can really slack off, in fact you are almost forced to slack off due to the fact nobody else is working.  But at some point, the lure of the computer calls and while you are not allowed to actually work, playing a game or two of Texas “No Limit” Hold’em poker while wandering about the internet is not really working, is it?

I love the fact random people contact you on Skype to say Happy Christmas – from Thailand (David Cavanagh), at at beach side restaurant, having thai food that looks nothing like turkey.

That you have time to look at David “Cashflow Investor” Lee’s little video from a ski-lift with his son – who looks mighty embarrassed as you would expect from a teenager!!  I think I could go on a ski lift now as it’s almost like being there, watching David’s video.

I love Ambar Hamid’s link / photo via Twitter / Twitpic to the balcony of his aunt’s house in stunning Stressa overlooking Lake Maggiore….talking of Twitpic, I know what Noah (who invented Twitpic) apartment looks like – he’s so YOUNG!!

I want to know via Twitter via his mobile, about the fact Yanik Silver (whose great book “34 Rules For Maverick Entrepreneurs I’m just reading) is just about to board his cruise ship even though it means he is not going to be on ours next week.  I love the fact he has time to create a thought provoking blog posting about forward thinking people on Facebook, and about those rooted in the past which Facebook throws up from your past (which nonetheless gave us a picture of Yanki as a geeky child which is very funny).

I want to know – via Twitter / Twitpic again – that Stephen Fry had a great time in New York and he’s on his way to New Zealand now.  He’s got a podcast too which I might have to subscribe to…..I’ve joined his membership club which I wouldn’t have known about if he wasn’t twittering from Africa.

Sarah “Teen Coach” Newton is working and has gone VERY PINK on her Twitter profile – Judith would not find that odd at all but I do as Sarah is not a very pink person imho.

Judith’s very pink at all times and I know she’s been to see “Australia” today and quite liked it but not much by the sounds of it, and is deeply disconcerted that according to the present I got her (Nintendo DS Lite with Brain Training in metallic pink natch) her brain is older than she would like it to be (Skype) though I would never tell just how old LOLOLOL.

The iPod’s bound to fail, according to Alan Sugar (who I can’t find at all on Twitter along with Richard Branson) along with the nuclear powered hoover according to the New Zealand Herald.

Jason Moffat, one of my favourite bloggers has just moved into his new house and he doesn’t do Christmas – he’s down with celebrating any day of the year – watch his take on it all here.

Still, I’m bound to find more in my wanderings so I’ll let you know if I find anything good.  I’m off to watch Casualty and eat more turkey.

In the meantime, go read/watch and then vote on the entries for Money Gym Gold – there’s £11k worth of wealth coaching with me, and some gorgeous home study products at stake here!

Or enter yourself why don’t you?

Money Gym Gold Written Entry – Ntathu

Blessings Nicola-what a wonderful idea. Here is my entry for your Money Gym Gold Competition Special Christmas Offer.Have a truly restful and cheerful Christmas.  Ntathu
1. MY LIFE TO DATE: Born – December 15th 1962 – ?

Daughter, mother, wife, sister, friend, entrepreneuer, lover, yoga teacher, neighbour, companion……. my life is full, full of contradictions, committments, responsibilities, laughter, sadness, fun and happiness…..

Lowest Point – 1995 – 2002

“where have all the good people gone, where is my saviour and my lord, why have you left me alone in this world, with no one to care for me”…. This was my mantra, my heart felt song when my world fell apart. Prior to that the cracks were appearing, but with my customary cheery smile and good manners I held the tremors at bay. Then my brother died. Just like that. No warning. No good bye. Just death. My already fragile bubble burst and I collapsed. This was in 1997. It is now 2008 – the lesson I learnt was Forgiveness. To forgive myself for not being there when he died, to forgive my mother for not hearing his cry, to forgive my God for not saving his life.

Highest Point

Right now, in this very moment in time is the highest point in my life. Because it is my Brother’s birthday -23.12.1961-(the one who died in 1997 – see above) which means I am alive, have come through and
winning the game for life and victory. Thank you Money Gym for enabling me to recognise just
how far I have come. I am here listening to my middle daughter read to me her Dream. Her smile is genuine, her pleasure in being, celebrating her life reflects my joy and gratitude for being here, on my bed entering this
competition. Thank You

Gold For Christmas?

.goldpic Gold For Christmas?Have I talked to you about our Money Gym Gold Level 1:2:1 coaching programme recently?

No?  Blimey, I’ve been doing you a massive disservice!

Especially if you are struggling on alone, trying to make sense of this wealth creation business.

Coming up to Christmas, this is traditionally the time that the biggest numbers of people sign up for Money Gym Gold, because they are wanting to make suire the coming year is different.

They want to make sure that another year doesn’t slip by, without making some changes to their financial life.

They want to make sure that this is the year they turn things around and really get moving, get learning and get taking action.

Perhaps this sounds like you?

If it does, then I ought to remind you that at the Money Gym we are totally unique in the UK, in that we offer an intimate 1:2:1 coaching programme as well as our Silver Membership.

There are no other wealth creation training companies in the UK that offer 1:2:1 coaching, tailored to your individual circumstances, and delivered by fully trained coaches, who are also successful ex-clients of the actual programme they are working with.

I also need to let you know that we are incredibly strong and knowledgable in all four lanes of the Wealth Highway, unlike all the other companies out there who just focus on one.

Now you might think that focus is a good thing, and I would agree with you if we are talking about setting up a new business, or website, but NOT if you are just starting out in the wacky world of wealth creation and you haven’t got a clue yet which road to wealth would be the fastest easiest route for you!!

Oh, yes, we are talking fast and easy – that’s our mantra in the Money Gym.  No slow, boring, painful plans allowed here.  We want you to have fun along the way – we all do.

Now, are you aware that we are the most successful UK wealth coaching & training programme (in terms of clients results) and we’ve been around since 1999?  We are really proud of that.

All that said, I’ve been wondering over the past couple of months why you are not beating our Gold doors down yet!   Particularly in this current climate.

Then I realised why………..I haven’t mentioned our 1:2:1 coaching programme for ages – I’ve been totally focussed on our recent events and adding to our traffic and attracting Silver members.

Pretty slack.

Gotta tell you, I beat myself up for a bit about that….and I’m really sorry!

I’m OBVIOUSLY not communicating to you effectively enough that, in Gold,  we MAKE MILLIONARIES – even multi-millionaries, out of ordinary people.

Bright energetic people, sure, but outwardly ordinary people nonetheless.

I’m OBVIOUSLY not telling you clearly enough that, in Gold, we are particularly successful with getting results for women.  Must be the unbelievably uncritical and  supportive environment we create for you gals.

I’m OBVIOUSLY not convincing you enough with our testimonials that we have created millionaires out of our seemingly ordinary clients, over and over again, since 1999.

(It doesn’t help that some of them won’t let us tell you exactly how much money they have made online, in their new businesses, or how much thier property portfolios are now worth, or just how much they make per day trading on the stockmarket – because they don’t want their friends and family to know!!)

I’m OBVIOUSLY not shouting loud enough that we can show ANYONE – yes, particularly YOU – how to make your first million pounds.

We know we can show you the fastest, easiest way for you, that uses your unique skills and talents, your existing assets and strengths.

(Whether you go on to actually do it….well, that’s another matter, and to be honest, it’s much more likely in Gold.  Those coaches are on your side and you often do more work in the five minutes before a call than you have done all week!)

.gua Gold For Christmas?I’m OBVIOUSLY not communicating effectively enough that we guarantee that you will make your money back – if you do the work – within your first year.  Remember the story from Chris Ogle, who made his whole year’s investment in Money Gym Gold back within 12 days?

Or perhaps becoming a millionaire is not what you want?

I based that assumption on what most people type into Google to find us.  People lie, when I ask them how they found us, you see. They don’t want to look “greedy”.

(We soon teach you that wanting it all is not greedy, because only when you have a lot, can you help others).

They tell me they want security or a nicer life but I know what they are typing in Google.

“How To Make A Million Pounds” is the highest converting key phrase for us – both in terms of subscribers (people joining our mailing list) and front end sales (people buying the ebook or the £4.97 bundle).

But it did occur to me the other day that all the Google evidence might be wrong….perhaps you guys really don’t want to become millionaires.

Oooooops!

O dear, what if we are barking up the wrong marketing tree here?

I’m about to start marketing Gold 1:2:1 coaching programme for the traditional “New Year, New Start” run up to Christmas

And I don’t want to get it wrong…..because that would not be fair to you.

I don’t want anything to stop you joining us, if you really want to make your changes.

So……….

Will you tell me what you really want financially? Right now?  Will you answer this one question for me?

http://tinyurl.com/whatdoyouwant

Some answers from your future Gold Money Gym mates already are…

…..To do the work I CHOOSE to do

……To correct a badly imbalanced cash flow and have my investment properties supporting me instead of me supporting my properties

……To reduce debts

…….To have enough money coming in passively (truly passively) to give us the freedom to do what we want when we want

…….To help others in a massive way

……..To try challenges without it threatening my lifestyle

……..To treat my family

So, if any of this is working for you, if you recognise yourself in any of the above, and you want to make sure you secure your place in the “2009 Gold One Hundred” Hall of Fame, then go and have a look at

http://www.themoneygym.com/gold

and make the decision to make 2009 the year you take action.

Secure your place now – places ARE limited – and start work right now.  OR tell Judith you want to start with your coach in January 2009.

Go into Christmas knowing you have done something to make your financial life better – and relax.

I’ll let you know about the survey results!

Warm regards Nicola
