This week we're in Lane #1 : Business
What's Your Intention?
by
Judith Morgan, Money Gym Partner
Have
you started your own business by accident? I know I did -
several times!
All my previous businesses with only a couple of exceptions
have been started around brilliant ideas I had, some of
which I omitted to check with my marketplace first.
Pretty much all of them were created around things I love to
do technically, i.e. accounting, or helping people by
providing solutions.
But almost no thought ever went into the business - until it
was too late - about what I wanted to achieve from all the
effort, apart from a living.
These days I create everything with an intention. How will
this business make money, or set me free, or enable me to
work with inspirational people, or allow me to live in the
sunshine, or work in my pyjamas, or give up commuting, or
whatever my specific intentions?
How will this business enable me to help people without
completely draining me?
The E-Myth calls this your Primary Aim, remember? And you
have to go excavating to find out (if you don't already
know) what you want your life to be about, and therefore how
your business can support you in this.
How many other things have you done accidentally in your
life? What have you fallen into and how is that serving you
now? What limiting beliefs have you acquired in your life's
journey? How are they affecting your current situation, the
profits, the staff, the systems - or lack thereof?
If you haven't already done this exploration for yourself,
make it your intention this week. Set aside...

Hello, Nicola -
I MADE A SALE, I MADE A SALE!
Hope you and the team are well. This sounds
really pathetic but I had to email you and
say I got my very first affiliate income on
Clickbank! It was only $16.56 but it's
income, it's real and I did it.
$16.56!!!
It proves I can earn money on the Net and
outside my regular day job. $16.56!! Thank
you x millions for setting me on my way. It
took me exactly a year but it happened.
$16.56!!!! It barely covers what I spent on
Adwords promoting the product but now I have
proof it works I can start tweaking and
learning and refining until what I earn from
it begins to overtake what I spend. I get it
now! $16.56!!
Please do share it with anyone you feel
would benefit. I don't have a website at the
moment as I've no products/service of my own
to sell.
However, I'm working on a decluttering blog
(following your guidelines, of course),
aiming to go 'live' on 1st July. Meantime,
If people want to email me to check I'm real
& ask questions, they can do so using
vivianalotti@viv7.wanadoo.co.uk
Thank you so much, Nicola! Have a wonderful
Monday! Excuse me while I continue to turn
cartwheels and gurgle...
Viviana,
Money Gym Club member
PS: Did I mention I made $16.56 affiliate
income?

The Disease To Please
by
Annie Kaszina, Money Gym Wealth Coach
Do
you ever feel that people are not listening
to you? You tell them what you expect and
they totally disregard you? You can point
out to them something that is really, really
important to you and they go straight on,
blithely doing exactly what they were doing
before?
Or maybe you’re so sensitive to other
people’s needs that you fall over yourself
to help them, even before they’ve tried to
deal with the problem themselves. Well, you
know of old that they probably lack the time
or the know-how that you have. Besides, they
seem to expect it of you, and you wouldn’t
want to let them down now, would you?
The only problem is that you’re only human
too and there comes a time when ‘things’ get
on top of you and you need a helping hand.
But you don’t like to ask. You really
shouldn’t have to ask, should you? Maybe,
like me, you’ve heard the old saying: “if
you really want to help, you won’t wait to
be asked” and lived by it, or maybe you’ve
just sensed it. Either way, there are
moments when you find yourself thinking::
“Surely I’m entitled to something after all
I’ve done for them.” But it doesn’t seem to
work like that.
Do you ever get the feeling that there’s one
law for other people and another one for
you? You give, they take. They ask, they
get; you ask – or maybe you just hint – and
you don’t get.
Actually, you are all living by the same
law; it’s called the Law of Diminishing
Returns. It’s a pretty simple law and it
goes like this: the more you do the more
other people will expect of you, and the
less you get in return. You end up spending
a lot of your life feeling as though you are
between a rock and hard place and they end
up totally disregarding your feelings and
your occasional attempts to say “no”. After
all, ‘you must enjoy it or you wouldn’t do
it’.
Of course, that’s not the real reason why
you do it; you do it because you’re
frightened to say “no”. You’re worried that
unless you are ‘nice’ - to friends, family,
acquaintances and everybody else that knows
you – you don’t stand a cat’s chance of
being liked. What ‘nice’ means for you is
being accommodating, even obedient to other
people’s wishes.
You might be pleased to know that what you
are suffering from is not a personal
aberration or character flaw, but the
“Disease To Please”.
You are...

Quote of the week

Pain (any pain--emotional,
physical, mental) has a message. The information it
has about our life can be remarkably specific, but
it usually falls into one of two categories: "We
would be more alive if we did more of this," and,
"Life would be more lovely if we did less of that."
Once we get the pain's message, and follow its
advice, the pain goes away.

Dear Friend
It’s been a very “interesting” week,
what with Half Term and the hard launch
of our new membership site at
www.TheMoneyGymClub.com. Also a
rather major family crisis to get
through……
Mostly all positive though……..in
summary, we have created and launched
the Gold Express level of
The Money Gym Club and signed up our
first couple of clients to that.
We've firmed up our Mastermind Club
offering, we hosted our first “Wealth
Creation Burning Question” webinar on
Tuesday, Judith is podcasting our ezines
and the Wealth Tips, I’ve nearly
finished editing our next video for
Google Video and YouTube, we’ve got our
Money Gym Club podcast onto iTunes………wow,
wow, wow!
In some ways I feel like my life has
been on hold for the last three months,
while we raced to get the site up, fill
it up with the basics and then work
through the launch process. On a
practical level, it’s all there now,
largely working fine, all the existing
clients and early bird people are in now
and I hope to be able to throttle back a
bit and get out and about a bit more and
get back to speaking and networking.
It’s a bit like you are holding your
breath, waiting to see if it will “work”
and keeping the negative and limiting
beliefs at bay (oh, yes! dear reader, we
still battle with those ole demons too!)
while all the time trying to make it as
good as it can be, testing the
functionality, letting people know it’s
coming……..but still wondering if it will
“work”.
And hardest of all for me, is that this
was such a large project, we had to put
pretty much everything else on hold and
FOCUS. Scary stuff. What if it didn’t
work?
What do we mean by “work”?
I mean work not just on a micro level,
with the software, the membership
levels, uploading, letting people
register, the affiliate scheme, signing
up for the different levels, taking the
money, delivering the materials……….all
that’s the easy bit.
I mean work on a macro level, creating
and sustaining the automated version of
our marketing funnel, the launch of our
new range of products to bring our
message to a bigger group of people, to
provide the structure and momentum to
grow The Money Gym business to become
the premier Wealth Creation education
company in Europe, to support our vision
of creating a million millionaires in my
lifetime, creating an ongoing and
largely passive income flow for all
involved….to make up for the years of
work with not an awful lot of reward to
date….
So, is it working? Yes, is the answer.
Slow but steady. It’s not been a major
big profile launch at the internet
gurus’ level, because we wanted the site
to be working before we went out to our
strategic partners.
We have lots of Silver signups (those
1000 Silver places are going fast, with
over 395 gone in the first three weeks)
and a couple of Gold Express clients
signing up within a day or so of us
launching that service.
What next?
There is still SO MUCH stuff to load
into it though, after all, I have been
at this wealth creation business for
years now!! And just when I was thinking
that if I just kept loading existing
stuff in, and writing this ezine, then
that would be enough to keep the
momentum going……….and then…..I really
discovered webinars!
Well, I’ve known about them for ages,
and I have attended a few, but I blame
that Jim Edwards and Rich Schefren for
really bringing them to my attention,
because they did a joint webinar the
other day (with someone else whose name
I’ve forgotten) which was brilliant.
What are webinars? They are web-based,
interactive, more visual versions of
tele-seminars. I struggle with any kind
of audio (both listening to and creating
it) as I’m so highly visual, so webinars
work better for me than tele-seminars.
I want to go through all my old
powerpoint presentations, create
webinars for them, invite
Money Gym Club members to attend and
ask their questions, record them, and
put them on the site as products.
So suddenly I’ve been learning something
ELSE new (and doing it fast, which is
luckily one of my unique strengths
according to my Kolbe personality test
results) and I’ve been experimenting
with various types of software, to find
the best / most suitable kind for us.
We hosted our first one “Your Biggest
Wealth Creation Burning Question” on
Tuesday evening at 8pm, using what I
consider to be the
easiest to use
technology, created by Rick Raddatz. Not
sure if we will stay with it, as it is
missing a couple of bits of
functionality I particularly want, but
it’s lovely, none the less.
Other interesting things happening this
week are the launch of our publisher
Bookshaker’s new membership site,
focusing on the authors rather than the
books, so I’m intrigued to see how that
will work. Debs Jenkins and Joe Gregory
are always innovative.
Judith’s been telling me to do a list on
ListMania for ages, as it’s highly
search engine friendly, so I finally got
around to creating my official “Top 25
Books About Wealth Creation” - Steve’s
working on creating a “Recommended
Reading” list for the website now, with
our Amazon affiliate links included,
naturally.
Talking of Judith, she’s looking for
more “podholders” for her lovely turnkey
business opportunity. Over 22 people,
many of them
Money Gym Club clients, are making a
success of this, and if you want to
start your own business, but get your
hand held by one of the best business
coaches in the country, then this is
worth looking at. You can find out more,
listen to a Q&A recording, download a
transcript etc., at

When I write it down, I realise how much
we have achieved this week. In spite of
Half Term and what turned into a rather
major family crisis.
My daughter – on what could only have
been about her fifth or sixth trip to
Brighton with her friends ever - rather
scarily confirmed my theory that
entrepreneurs are rather closer to
criminals than we might like to think,
given the wrong stimulus...
She experimented with the theory that
“possession is nine-tenths of the law”
………..except she discovered that it
wasn’t. And P found out that the law has
rather long arms. And that it’s quite
lonely in the back of a police car on
your own. At 12 years old.
Steve and I ran the whole gamut of
emotions, while he raced off to
chaperone her official interview and
rescue her from custody. He’s a star, as
not only did I go to pieces and the idea
of driving through Brighton in rush hour
was beyond me and I had a long-held and
much treasured hair appointment - you
don’t muck my hairdresser around!
The emotions ranged from our worry about
what she was going through and feeling,
my exasperation that she was daft enough
to try it, to our disappointment that
spending the amounts of money on her
birthday just a couple of weeks ago, as
we did, didn’t seem to be enough, my
fury that it was all over being just £2
short to buy the ipod case she wanted,
to our worry about the longer term
issues arising from what she must have
been through while she watched her mate
run off (P froze, the other one ran) and
now her shame and unwillingness to face
everyone.
Little does she know that the MSN and
Bebo grapevine has spread the news
faster than the speed of light. She
thinks nobody knows – because she hasn’t
spoken to anyone - but everyone does,
bless her.
I was also exasperated that now we had
to ground her for at least a week, take
her mobile away, and revoke her computer
privileges – all of which combined to
create a bored, fed up 12 year old, at
home and desperate for stimulation.
Still, it got her bedroom tidied. And
she learned how to use the washing
machine and tumble dryer, in an attempt
to work herself back into our good
graces.
And it’s supplied Steve with an endless
source of rather risqué humorous
material………starting with wondering why
on earth, if she was going to go on the
rob, she would consider wearing a black
and white stripy top and leggings….that
store detective must have SEEN HER
COMING!
Have fun! We are still trying…
