A note from Nicola

"Dear Judith, I will attend the next
group coaching - I've put it in my diary...
I haven't attended
The Money Gym calls in person before but
I do always listen to the recordings and I
never fail to enjoy them and learn something
from them.
I always pride myself on being a
resourceful person, but you and Nicola are
absolutely excellent in that respect. I know
that many coaches try to make themselves out
to be the 'leading' business coach and the
'UK's top' wealth coach but, for my money,
you and Nicola really have those niches
completely sewn up and I wouldn't hesitate
to recommend either of you to anyone.
Now and again, I catch sight of how much
I've learned through being a part of
The Money Gym - the websites I've built,
the income I get through Adsense and Amazon,
the clickthroughs I get from Adwords, the
two books that I've written, and so much
more stuff that I do automatically now
without even remembering that I learned how
to do it just by being a part of
The Money Gym.
So, thanks to you and Nicola for all that
you do and for not hesitating to pass it
on."

This week we're in Lane #1 : Business
Financially Intelligent Bank Accounts
by
Nicola Cairncross, Money Gym Founder
One of the things I have struggled with for
years is the question of having different bank accounts for
different activities (which makes sense) yet trying to keep
things simple because as sure as eggs is eggs (sic), any
money is invariably in the wrong account at the wrong time.
I know that all the other living-on-the-edge-entrepreneurs
will know what I'm talking about!
The other challenge I have is how to account for items spent
using credit cards. Physically how to enter them into my
"day-book" so that they make sense to my money, and to the
tax man - as my day-book is used to prepare my accounts.
I needed a blueprint on how to design a supportive
environment using my bank accounts. One that would be almost
automatic, one that would "work".
The first glimmer came when I read US coach Mike Neill's
"Freedom Fund" tip; I think it's perfect for employed people
who want to leave their job and start a business. I'm going
to go into it a bit below, but to read it in full,
join the Silver Level of The Money Gym Club and it's one
of the resources in Module 3: Cashflow.
Then, over Christmas I was reading Mary Hunt's book "Debt
Proof Living" (which is excellent by the way), and she goes
into bank accounts in great detail. A light bulb moment.
Wow! I realised that if you combined this stuff with Mike's
Freedom Fund tip, it would be a great blueprint for how to
set up your bank accounts to be a support system, a new
"environment" to help you evolve into your new financial
lifestyle.
So here it is, with thanks to Mike Neill & Mary Hunt.

that most companies fail because of a lack of profit or bad
cashflow management, so let's see if you can run your
company finances right now, as if you had already started.

Developing a Gratitude Attitude
by Marion Ryan,
Money Gym Wealth Coach
As
evidenced by the glass of water which is half empty for some of us and half full for
others, there are often two seemingly opposite ways to look at life.
So when last Saturday I bagged myself a € 40
parking ticket for going horribly over my
time allowance in town, I took it on the
chin. Even though I'd have much preferred
spending the money on lunch for two at Cafe
Hans or a new much needed haircut I felt I
should pay up without whinging.
Think abundance. Send the universe a
prosperity message. I probably owed at least
that much to the council in my frequent
over-stays in their car parks so I accepted
the charge graciously.
Back home, a couple of hours later, Jake
lost his brand new mobile phone in the huge
field of knee-length grass behind the house.
We separated to cover the biggest area
possible and though I rang the phone number
repeatedly we just couldn't hear it ring.
We tried tapping a la EFT - "even though
we'll never find this darn phone, we love
and accept it anyway..." and we were right -
we never did find the darn phone!
By nightfall, not only had the battery
discharged and the phone stopped ringing but
just to make sure our hopes were
annihilated, the heavens opened and it
continued pouring for the rest of the
weekend.
I felt a bit peeved with the universe. I'd
surely demonstrated my abundance with my
approach to the parking ticket. What was it
hoping to prove with the spiriting away of
the mobile phone? Deciding we must still
have lessons to learn, I reminded Jake how
lucky we were it was only a stupid old
(well, not so old) phone that we'd lost. We
could replace it if we wanted. Imagine if
we'd lost him. How insignificant a missing
mobile would seem then?
I thanked the universe for the lesson in
gratitude. But she wasn't finished with me
yet. In fact, I was to discover she'd so far
only been teasing me...

Quote of the week

"When you believe you've found your purpose, do not
allow yourself to be dissuaded by others' opinions -
don't allow them to tell you in which direction to
build. After about five years of working at
Nightingale Conant, I landed on an alarmingly great
idea... I was going to do this on my own.
I wanted to do just what my close friend and mentor,
Earl Nightingale, was doing, but I wanted to do it
under my own name and with the education and
knowledge I'd been personally acquiring over all the
years. So, I got a tape recorder - you know, one of
those old fashioned kinds with the big buttons and
the red "record" button. You put the tape in and it
click-click-clicks away while you talk into the
microphone...that kind of thing. And I sat down and
recorded my own thoughts on the subject of personal
growth.
I needed someone to give me feedback, so I called up
a good friend and told him I had a great idea I
wanted to share with him. I took the tape and
recorder up to his house, turned it all on and
...well, Joel Goldsmith's phrase "Thunder of
Silence" couldn't have fit the situation better. As
the tape played on, the pressure in that room became
enormous - it was his embarrassment for me. I
eventually turned the tape recorder off, and
mumbled, "Well, it was just an idea."
As I was driving back to my house, it hit me: I was
letting him steal my dream! This was my dream! I
wasn't going to let him steal my dream! And that's
when it clicked in my mind... I can do this.
Had I listened to him, I would have fallen off my
life's purpose. I would have kept obtaining goals
and building long-term visions in my head, but I
would have been going in the absolute wrong
direction. See, if you're not on purpose, everything
is off course.
When you have the right purpose you'll easily
develop the right vision. When you have the right
vision, you'll quickly recognize the right goal."

A note from Nicola

Hi
This has been an interesting week
work-wise despite my not stirring from
my house or out of Shoreham. And very
audio orientated which is unusual for
me.
I went to another fantastic party on
Saturday, at which several very
interesting things happened, but I SO
can’t go into details here LOL. Suffice
to say that my new Capri pant/pedal
pushery things and kitten heels got an
outing (I know!!) and I managed not to
fall off them once which is a miracle
coz I’m a bit tottery in heels usually.
Judith
and I started the two week series of
live webinars, every night at 8pm, where
we are essentially discussing one
chapter of my rather nicely enduring
book “The
Money Gym: Ultimate Wealth Workout”
every night, and we are inviting
questions from participants in advance
of the webinars. Some of the coaches are
joining us for some calls and they are
just great fun. Talking of which, I’m
starting to accumulate
some nice reviews on Amazon.co.uk
for the book, which are outweighing the
first, rather negative one. But don’t
buy it from there – we are making a fab
special offer if you get it from us (see
below).
We are also podcasting the new Money Gym
Webinars via iTunes before creating an
audio version of the book out of them.
This will be for sale as separate
product, and that product will be
bundled with the special offer we have
going at the moment to give extra value
to that. You can subscribe via iTunes
and get them at no charge, as we finish
them, as you are a reader of this ezine
*wink*.
I love a nice bit of “do the work once,
leverage it over and over, and give lots
of goodies away”
Andy Shaw called me up unexpectedly this
week, and as a result of our discussion
about his membership site, “focused” me
rather well about our marketing this
week. Funny how inspiration can come out
of the blue and strike when you least
expect it.
I
watched Jim Edward’s webinar “My First
Million Dollars Online” the other day,
and it was brilliant. I so want to go on
Jim’s Caribbean Internet Marketing
cruise!! That, together with Andy’s call
and participating in the Rich Schefren
“Strategic Profits” Business Coaching
Programme is all having a quite profound
effect on the way we do things round
here. Together with the “4
Hour Work Week” which I haven’t even
read yet.
Thanks to Jim asking the question “What
would happen if, God forbid, you ended
up under a bus tomorrow?” I’m making a
timetable of everything I do during the
week (apart from play Second Life, and
diddle about reading everyone’s blogs of
course!) and working out what and when
we can outsource things.
I’m also looking at all the things that
I don’t do well, or don’t enjoy, and
finding strategic partners for those
things.
I’ve done all the copywriting to date
but, nearly 10 years on, it’s getting
hard to work up the energy to be able to
convey in writing, the excitement I
still feel in person, for our
life-changing
Money Gym. As a trial project, Mark
Lewin had a go at re-writing our
Webinars info page for us and managed at
the last minute to convert 3.06% of
traffic to sales for us which is great
for a real rush job. We had previously
achieved a paltry 0.6% so thanks Mark!
www.marklewin.com – lovely website!
OVER HYPED,
OVER PROMOTED & OVER HERE!
Judith has done a fantastic job of that
on her blog this week – she got all
riled up about more overseas Wealth
Creation “gurus” coming into town and
everyone flocking to see the next big
thing. She writes so well and she is
funny and inspired in equal measure so
check out her self-style “rant” here
>>>> Although Judith is far too
gentle to rant really badly, but don’t
get me started!!
SUMMER SPECIAL
– YES! IT IS SUMMER…
I’m working on writing up a very special
timed summer offer on Gold Express
membership of
The Money Gym Club at the moment
so watch your in-boxes for that, as I’ll
send it out separately.
It’s based around the fact that, if you
want to work with me and Judith
personally, the only way to do that
nowadays is via our quarterly
Money Gym Club Mastermind Group
get-togethers. We host those in lovely
hotels, in Brighton and London, and they
are based on the second day of the old
Money Gym Platinum workshops (which
no longer exist but which clients
absolutely loved).
You need to have gone through the
Money Gym Club Gold Level membership
to be invited to join the Mastermind
Group (this ensures a certain level of
wealth creation savvy) and if you have a
busy life and lots of commitments, you
can do Gold in a year, or if you are
Speedy Gonzalez and you really want to
go for it, you can do Gold Express in
just three months! (Find out more
at
www.TheMoneyGymClub.com)
The summer offer is so well timed
because if you join the
Money Gym Club Gold Express Level
right NOW, you will be in time for the
next Mastermind Group get together in
October 2007.
In the meantime, we have a trial
marketing special offer based around the
Money Gym ebook version of the hard copy
book:
Offer #1
- Invest in the ebook for £25 and
get 3 months
Silver membership of the site –
worth £82.50 – with our complements,
F*REE!
Get extra materials, audio, advice, help
and support via the site and our live
webinars, while you work though the
book.
Or
Offer #2
- Invest in 12 months membership of the
Money Gym Club, get 50%
discount worth £165!, get the
eBook version of the book immediately,
worth £25, AND we will send you the hard
copy from Amazon – worth another £25! -
to read in bed and or pass on to a
friend.
Find out more at
http://tinyurl.com/34gdf7
I’ve also done two webinars with
copywriter, Nick Wrathall, whose
birthday it was recently – he looks
about twelve but is apparently in his
teens at least!! He wrote some killer
emails around the birthday theme, which
just emphasised how good British
copywriting can be. You can access both
webinars with out complements here for a
little while >>>
http://www.TheMoneyGym.com/NickWrathall/webinars.htm
http://www.TheMoneyGym.com/NickWrathall2/webinars.htm
Nick has just released a great
guide to effective copywriting for small
businesses, that is selling at a
very affordable £47 and I highly
recommend Nick to any business owner who
can’t afford to pay someone like Mark
Lewin to write their website, emails or
advertisements yet.
I’ve just done the first of a series of
four, perhaps five webinars with
business man
Mike Segall, fellow BlackStar
Ecademist, who has various companies,
including SpeedNetworking, Central Debt
Management and New Business Generation.
The topics are Wealth Creation, Debt
Management & Leveging OPM (Other
People’s Money) For Wealth, Property
Investment and Generating New Business
Leads.
You can find out more at
www.TheMoneyGym.com/WorkingLunch -
it’s hilarious that you can create
valuable content and great quality audio
with one person sitting in their desk in
Shoreham and the other in their car in
the Birmingham NEC carpark!! Such fun.
SECOND LIFE
The arrival of some new computer memory
has heralded a resurgence of interest in
Second Life.
Hermione has some new apartments – 6
more! The original 8 are now filling up
rapidly, which has much to do with the
arrival of her flirtatious sister
Larimar, who does a great job of selling
them to prospective tenants.
She also treated herself to a new pad in
SL. It is very, very modern, from
Maximum Minimus, H’s favourite furniture
shop and it’s just beautiful. I want one
just like it on Shoreham Foreshore. As
soon as possible – talk about
manifesting!
Here is a pic of the front of the house
(for privacy you can click any window
and they all turn into frosted blue
glass – fab!), and then one looking out
over the pool from the hanging chair.
Just by the pool, in the sea aisle
there, there are real waves, two manta
rays, a turtle and a friendly little
crab – so sweet! We are calling it
“Hermione’s Heaven” because she loves it
so much.

Hermione can see two of her luxury
apartment complexes, sister Larimar’s
Moorish palace is just over the way, and
between them they have bought up all the
land around, so nobody can build
anything nasty on the land parcels
nearby.

In front of the house is a sea facing
plot that they have created a bit of a
leisure complex on, complete with full
size pool, spa and bar.
Hermione and Larimar threw a bit of an
impromptu party for one of the tenants
JonnyB Baxter the other night and
FenwayMonster Greene, the builder of the
apartments dropped by. He made a cake
out of nothing and put some very large
candles on it, conjuring up some
balloons out of thin air.

He had such a funny animation and gave
everyone all a copy – it was a
spontaneous combustion animation, and by
saying a quick command, you could run
through the campfire, turn yourself into
a towering infermo and then throw
yourself in the pool. They had great fun
with that and also practicing the belly
dancing animation that Larimar
contributed.
It was not quite the funniest animation
Hermione has seen this week though, as
she popped by Sands Nightclub (where Hed
Kandi dj’s play live from RL to SL) only
to find it had moved to a new location.
While standing outside working out how
to get the new TP co-ordinates, she
noticed a guy rolling about, apparently
drunk, with pink elephants coming out of
both the bottle he was holding and his
head! This animation was the first of
it’s kind she’s seen and it was very
very funny, especially when, every time
he fell over, his head disappeared into
the concrete.
They got chatting and it turned out he
was a house dj from Chicago and as
Hermione knows a bit about house music
and the roots of it, in Chicago, they
got on like a house on fire, went
shopping together and had a load of fun.
Could this be the one to stop her pining
for the elusive Vasily?
We shall see, but there is an Exotic
Islands Real Estate party on this week
and Vasily might just be there…..now,
what shall she wear?
Have fun, we are!
